Overview
Splashtop
Splashtop makes remote access software for IT teams. The product was strong and the brand was quiet, especially anywhere a person might look for the company rather than the software.
I worked across social, employer brand, content and community, testing what a more human Splashtop sounded like on each one.

Challenge
A technical product needed a more human presence.
Splashtop already had a strong B2B product, but there was an opportunity to show more of the people and personality behind the brand across newer social channels and employer-facing platforms.
Approach
Experiment across channels.
I worked across several parts of the brand, from launching social content to interviewing employees and writing for search.
Social
Developed content and strategy for TikTok and Instagram, experimenting with short-form video alongside product and company content.
Employer Brand
Interviewed 30+ employees to better understand company culture and help shape messaging across LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
Content + SEO
Ghostwrote articles with the Head of IT using SEO best practices and created graphics for company updates, events, and blog content.
Community
Created a Work-From-Home Content Contest that brought in 50+ employee submissions.
Impact
Reflection
What I learned.
Splashtop was one of my first experiences seeing how many different forms marketing could take.
I got to move between social, design, writing, research, and employee engagement, and learned how much I enjoyed making technical ideas feel more approachable.
